Pillows are incredibly versatile in bringing a couch or sofa to life, and this certainly holds true for futon sofas and futon chairs. You can choose matching fabrics if you wish the pillows to continue the color scheme and pattern in your futon cover. The pillows repeat the wonderful hues and pattern, if any, in the futon cover, adding an additional dimension to the futon couch design.

Many people choose somewhat subtle fabrics for the futon sofa itself, and then bring splashes of color into their decor with color coordinating pillows. We have designer recommendations for coordinating colors and patterns for many of our futon covers, chosen by the manufacturer's own designer, who's delight in life is to play with light, hue, and texture in the fabrics that are combined.

How to Purchase Only Pillows

To purchase just pillows for any futon cover fabric, go the the product page for the fabric. In the drop-down menu for "Choose Your Size," select "Just the Pillows." Beneath that, pull down the "Select Type" drop-down menu and select the size of pillows you want. All are available in various sizes in Pillow Shams, with or without pillow inserts. Some fabric even include fully sewn pillows, but we are seeing fewer manufacturers offering that type of pillow.
