Returns


Return Policy on All Futons Products

If you are not fully satisfied, you may return your product within 14 days of the delivery date. Sorry, but there are no returns on custom orders.

First, you must get a Return Authorization Number (RAN) which allows us to return your product to the manufacturer. Call our dedicated customer service at 1-888-470-1523.

Do NOT return your package to Futonsandbeanbags.com. You will only incur the additional expense of our having to ship your product back to the manufacturer.

The returned product must be in new and unused condition, in the original box with all the documentation, parts and accessories to insure full credit. "New and unused" means sale-able condition, not dirty and not washed. We cannot accept returns for an item with any indications that it has been used. Mattresses must be in the original packaging, unused and unsoiled in any way.

Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is damaged or defective.

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee charged by the manufacturers (see Restocking Fees below), and must be returned within 2 weeks (14 days) after receiving the item. If you have any questions about the restocking fee as it pertains to your order, please call us before we even ship the product to you, because once it leaves the warehouse we have incurred a cost which we are required to pass on to you should you return the item.

Note: Shipping costs cannot be refunded.

Please allow us 10-14 days once we have received your return to process and credit your credit card.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives at your door damaged, broken or defective, we will either replace the broken parts, if possible, or ship out a new one completely at our expense.

If you purchased a futon frame or other large item, and there are any damaged, defective, or missing parts or instructions, the manufacturer will generally replace the parts promptly, so there will be no need to return the product. Contact us for assistance.

You will only incur the additional expense of our having to ship the item back to the original manufacturer. These shipping charges will be deducted from from your refund.

Inspect the Product When It Arrives!

It is very important that you inspect the product as soon as it arrives. For large items, such as futon frames, that means when they come off the delivery truck so the driver may record any damages in the shipping log.

If the box looks damaged, please open it to inspect it in the presence of the driver. If the box and its contents have been damaged in shipping, the shipper will be responsible for charges. This is important to the manufacturer, who is responsible for sending you replacement parts or a new futon frame.

Replacement Parts

Requests for replacement parts will be processed as quickly as possible. Please note that we are not able to express ship replacement pieces.

What to Do if the Product is Damaged

Please send email to Futonsandbeanbags.com describing the damage, and, if you can, attach a picture of the damage to your email.

Manufacturers generally prefer to replace the damaged parts and will decide how they will handle the repair or replacement. Futonsandbeanbags.com will work with the manufacturer to ensure that you will receive the your replacement parts or repairs. We do not simply refer customers to the manufacturer, but we work with the manufacturer on your behalf to achieve the outcome that you desire.

If the product is used and found to be defective, it will be repaired and returned to you as soon as possible. The manufacturer will generally have it picked up from your house and returned to you.

Credit and Return Time

Please give us some time to process your return/exchange. It takes about 10 business days for us to receive the returned or exchanged product back from you. Within 48 hours of receiving the item back in the warehouse, you will receive an e-mail that reflects that your refund has been processed. Your credit card company typically takes longer to post the credit to your account than it does for us to issue the credit to them.

All refunds granted are for the purchase price of the product only and can only be issued to the credit card used at purchase. We will refund your purchase price minus the actual shipping charges incurred and any restocking fee.

Futonsandbeanbags.com accepts returns of its unused futon covers, pillows, and yoga mats even if you just need another color or size.  You must contact Futonsandbeanbags.com to request a Return Authorization Number (RAN) before returning the package.

Restocking Fees

Many manufacturers now charge a Restocking Fee when a futon cover or beanbag is returned for reasons other than damage or defective workmanship. Futonsandbeanbags.com will only charge you these fees if the manufacturer charges them to us. If the manufacturer charges a restocking fee, it will be deducted from your refund.

Problems With The Color or Pattern

If you simply do not like the color or pattern, you still need a Return Authorization Number to return your product and get a refund. You must return products at your own expense.  Once the manufacturer has notified Futonsandbeanbags that the returned product has arrived at the manufacturer’s factory, we will refund your purchase price minus the actual shipping charges incurred and any restocking fee.

Problems With the Size

Normally, restocking fees are not assessed on exchanges. So, if you ordered the wrong size, and need to return the product for a different size, please contact Futonsandbeanbags.com to get a Return Authorization Number (RAN) before shipping the package. 

Futonsandbeanbags will send you the address of the manufacturer to whom you will return the product, and will have the correct size sent to you. Futonsandbeanbags will make any adjustments in price relating to the size at the time that you request the new size.

Do you return any product directly to Futonsandbeanbags. We will then have to charge you for returning that product back to the original manufacturer.

For All Returned Products

Our Customer Service Staff work on behalf of our customers to get the corrected sizes, refunds, and acceptable solutions that you desire.  Please note that shipping costs cannot be refunded.

Futonsandbeanbags.com has no restrictive return policies of its own. We must, however, comply with the manufacturers’ return policies. Some of our manufacturers will bend over backwards to satisfy our customers.  Though return policies may vary slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer, they always need to be notified in advance that a purchase is coming back.

In all cases, please call Futonsandbeanbags.com to get a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and the manufacturer’s address before shipping the package. 

Once the manufacturer receives the returned product, Futonsandbeanbags.com will process your refund or will provide you with information on how to upgrade your order to a larger size, etc.
